Tiny Time Out

Bonjour everyone,
how are you?

I'm back in Paris since Tuesday night and already busy again.
Fashion week castings will start tomorrow and also my parents will visit this weekend. I'm sooo happy to see them and I really can't wait even though it will be a very busy weekend anyway.

So this post is called "time out" because I will take a little break from the blog. 
Also I might change the design soon and add a small surprise feature for you guys but that takes some time. So first of all I will be back after the fashion week and as soon as I get to go to Germany for a bit I will work on the layout of the blog.

So keep up following the upcoming shows here in Paris and stay tuned. :)

 

Wrong era?

Hey everyone, how are you?

I'm okay, catching a little cold again but I'm used to it.
These days in London are quite busy. I'm running around a lot, doing heaps of castings, some fittings and shows.
However, I'm not satisfied at the moment. Sometimes (especially during fashion week) I feel like I'm born in the wrong era of time.
I mean, I am a woman and I actually look like one. Yes, WITH curves.
Sorry, I don't intend to be rude, it's just that I sometimes don't understand what designers are looking for. They want to sell their collections for real women, right? Thus not for kids. Cause when I look at some shows I only see super flat models without any female shape.
That makes me really sad and to be honest I sometimes wish to have the times back where Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista & Co. ruled the business.
What do you think?

So maybe that's why I'm not doing super many shows at the moment but I'm still busy, which is good.

LONDON calling

Hello hello from LONDON ;)



As I told you, it was a pretty spontaneous decision but here I am now.
I can feel the show season starting since I'll have 12 castings tomorrow.
So I just wanted to give you a quick shout where I am right now and I really need some sleep now.

Hello Weekend

Hey everyone,
how are you doing? I hope everything is well and this stupid winter weather is not disturbing you too much.
The past week I was still working with Saint Laurent as the fitting model and I will continue this work until next Tuesday.
Also I've moved houses again so it was quite a busy week haha.
However, thanks to my boyfriend I can relax with him in the evening after those long working days. :-)
And not to forget: My french becomes really better working with all these french people.


But back to the business: Unfortunately I still can't give you news regarding this show season. My agency and I are waiting until Monday/Tuesday to decide because we are waiting for news on some good editorial options that I have for Paris. So if I do London, I'll go there last minute Tuesday night so don't be mad if you don't get any news for a couple of days please. ;-)

One thing more that i HAVE to tell you. Many of you might know that I'm kind of a shoe addict. Not only heels though. So what do you think of those cute Leopard shoes I bought yesterday?

Time managing problems

           

Bonjour tout le monde,

I really have to apologize for making you wait for an update for a whole week again. As you know, I was working for Saint Laurent until Wednesday, so I was quite busy because some days I also had some additional castings.
However, we enjoyed the little after party Wednesday night and in between I went to see that amazing ferris wheel at the place de la concorde with one of the girls working with me at the showroom.

However, on Thursday I had to get up really early to catch my train to Antwerp in Belgium since I had an important request casting there.

So I was working in the morning and enjoyed a free afternoon in Antwerp to see a bit of this cute city. And the language they speak there was really cute to me since it's quite similar to German haha.                                                                                                                                   

Also, one morning before the work at the showroom I went to see the "Jardin du Luxembourg", which is a beautiful huge park and the weather was just perfect. Even though since that day it's just drizzeling and windy but at least not so freezing anymore. 
                   
And to give you some news about what's going on with my travelling, I can tell you that I am for sure not starting the show season from NYC this time. The whole next week I have another job here in Paris and then we'll see, I'll probably start from London directly after that job.

Early bird

Bonjour tout le monde, ca va?

These days I'm quite busy as I'm working in a showroom again for 8 days. 
The title of this post is "early bird" because at the moment I am starting work at 7.30am in the morning each day.
Also I will not get to have a weekend but at least from Monday to Wednesday I will start work at 1.30pm haha.
The following picture was taken right before work. It's the "Petit Palais" but I'm working at the "Grand Palais" just vis-à-vis.

The good thing is that you can still enjoy your free afternoons when you work early so today for example I went to the "Carrousel du Louvre", a cute shopping centre next to the Louvre.

Of course I'm not only working but also enjoying some time with friends, like here for a drink. ;)

Also I have some news for you according to the next show season.As far as I know the plan for now, it seems that I'll skip NYC since my book is not ready yet and instead start from London. It would have been a little bit late to go to NY right after the showroom anyway and like this I'll be more than ready for NY the season after. :-) If I don't book any other job in between, I will even get to go home for a few days before all the shows/castings start again which would be nice for sure.
